Born in Manresa, Barcelona - Spain

November, 1980.

 

Began at an early age playing guitar and soon changed to electric bass fascinated with musicians such as Marcus Miller, Paul Jackson, Carles Benavent, among others. The fundamentals of rhythm and harmony which the instrument offered allowed his artistry and musicianship to explore new fields.

 

He continued his musical exploration and studied in ¨L'AULA de Música Moderna i Jazz¨ in Barcelona, Spain and later complimented his university studies in The Netherlands attending one year to the ARTEZ Conservatorium in Enschede and obtaining a Bachelor in Electric Bass and Jazz in the "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" in Amsterdam. He also had the priviledge to attend to several Master Classes with artist such as Brad Mehldau, Gary Willis, Branford Marsalis, Peter Erskine, Marcus Miller and Louis Johnson among many others and received private and group lessons with artists such as Dominique di Piazza and Carles Benavent. 

 

His professional experience include performances with International names such as Big Black & Beautiful, Kindered the Family Soul, Berget Lewis, Karen Bernod, Russel Taylor, Jenny Lane, Yuri Honing, Orville Breeveld, among others... and Spanish names such as Anaut, Pablo Martinez Flamenco Jazz Band, Aurora Garcia, APOLO 13 featuring Llibert Fortuny, just to mention a few. 

 

In 2016 becomes a proud member of the EICH AMPLIFICATION family by becoming an endorser of the brand. Previously being endorsed in 2014 by TEC AMP.

Comenzó a una edad temprana tocando la guitarra pero poco después cambió al bajo eléctrico fascinado por musicos como Marcus Miller, Paul Jackson, Carles Benavent, entre otros. Los fundamentos de ritmo y harmonía que le ofrecía el instrumento permitió que su arte y musicalidad explorara nuevos campos. 

 

Continuó su exploración musical y sus estudios en "L'AULA de Música Moderna i Jazz" en Barcelona, España para luego complementar sus estudios universitarios en Holanda atendiendo un año al Conservatorio ARTEZ de Enschede y obteniendo una Licenciatura en Bajo Eléctrico y Jazz en el "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" en Amsterdam. Tuvo el privilegio de asistir a distintas Clases Magistrales con artistas como Brad Mehldau, Gary Willis, Branford Marsalis, Peter Erskine, Marcus Miller y Louis Johnson entre otros y recibió clases privadas y grupales con artistas como Dominique di Piazza y Carles Benavent. 

 

Su experiencia profesional incluye actuaciones con nombres internacionales como Big Black & Beautiful, Kindered the Family Soul, Berget Lewis, Karen Bernod, Russel Taylor, Jenny Lane, Yuri Honing, Orville Breeveld, entre otros... y nombres españoles como Anaut, Pablo Martinez Flamenco Jazz Band, Aurora Garcia, APOLO 13 con Llibert Fortuny, sólo para mencionar algunos. 

 

En el 2016 se convierte en un miembro de la familia
